DR Travel Acronym of the Week: BT.   BT stands for Bulk Ticket.  Travelers will locate the acronym next to their discounted airfare on their paper ticket/E-Ticket.  BTs are purchased from airlines at a reduced rate for assigned routes and groups.  Travel agents buy them to reserve space for corporate groups, destination weddings, large family vacations, etc.  Groups will not only take advantage of reduced fares, but they will travel with security knowing that all members reached their destination safe and sound.  That's TRUE value for your buck!  But be sure to request your dates in advance, because while certain airlines offer BTs, available space will be limited as you approach your travel date(s).
